This year (2023) is our 50th anniversary as a church family. This is a significant milestone, one which we will commemorate with thankfulness to God for the past while also seeking to build with Him into the future.
Already this year we have completed a process of refurbishing our church buildings. You can watch a video of the work as it progressed below.
We’ve also been praying as a church, expressing our gratitude to God for the past while seeking Him to renew our life and vision as a church going forward. You can find our 50 Years / 50 Days of Prayer Guide by tapping here.
On the weekend of 9th & 10th December we’re marking the 50th Anniversary of our church (actually anniversary date is 8th December!) The weekend will include…
50th Anniversary Dinner - Saturday 9th December at 7.00pm. All current and former members of our church welcome for this 3-course meal which will include a photographic display and reflections through the years. All tickets for this event have now been reserved, but you can place your name on a standby list on Sundays.
50th Anniversary Services - Sunday 10th December at 9.30am & 11.00am. We’re delighted that we’ll be joined by the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, Rev Dr Sam Mawhinney, who will lead our worship and bring congratulations from our denomination. Followed by cake for everyone! Everyone welcome!
50th Anniversary Praise & Prayer Night - Sunday 10th December at 7.00pm. A night giving where we’ll give thanks for God’s faithfulness to us as a church in the past, and look to Him for the future. Everyone welcome!
